Birla temple is situated in the heart of city over a 280 feet (85 m) high hillock called the Naubath Pahad. The temple was consecrated in 1976.Build from pure white marble from Rajesthan.The temple hosts Lord Venkateshwara. The best time to visit this temple is in the evening and please avoid the weekends(Its crowded).Its a place to be for a person who really loves the architecture. The intricate designs of the arches and the whole environment makes you visit the place once more.

The temple offers a  magnificent view of the city of pearls(Hyderabad)  from Hussain sagar lake and I max to the necklace road and secunderabad.

Cams and cellphone are not allowed inside the temple and are to be placed in the lockers provided my the temple authorities for FREE.

One can also shop at the temple complex or on the way down towards the bus stop.












Transportation.

There are several ways to reach to the temple.
1) Get down at Lakdi-ka-pul and take the route opposite to the RBI office.
2) Take the road opposite to the Assembly.

The Green color is the small route from the Bus Stop
The Red color is the road opposite to the RBI
The Blue color is the road shown in the Google Maps

From Nampally railway station come towards the Assembly (3 kms).

There is parking space available for 2 wheelers and the 4 wheelers.


Food.

There are KAMAT Hotel (Vegeterian) beside RBI office.
