Pillalamarri

One of the most interesting place to see in Mahabubnagar is the famous banyan tree called Pillalamarri which is about 4 kms from the Mahabubnagar. From a distance the tree presents the appearance of a small hillock with green foliage but on reaching closer it looks like a large green umbrella.

It is a 700 years old banyan tree and its branches extend over an area of 3 acres. There is a archeological museum to visit. After 2003 AndhraPradesh Tourism department has taken charge and developed the area. this can be a great picnic spot for a family on a weekend. There is an entrance charge for Rs 5 and Rs 3 for the museum.

Hyderabadi Biryani

One might have seen banner displaying "Hyderabadi Biryani" in most of the cities of India and world too.But nothing comes closer to taste of Biryani that we find in Hyderabad. For the people who want to try
Hyderabadi Biryani from the place where it originated.
After being in Hyderabad for more than 20 yr and trying all sorts of Birayani in various hotels and restaurants.I can't resist having Biryani in the these place I just love it.
